Line Change is seeking a creative, goal-oriented, and highly entrepreneurial Fashion Design Intern to join our design team. This candidate will be integral to our in-house production team to assist in building Line Change's credibility as a fashion forward and community minded brand through design, production, manufacturing, and fulfilment.

The Fashion Design Intern should have a basic understanding of the textiles space, broad knowledge of the manufacturing world, and up-and-coming best practices in fashion.

The ideal candidate has experience developing collections. They should be highly organised, proactive, and willing to roll up their sleeves to assist the Design Team in realising their vision for the products.

The Fashion Design Intern will report to our lead Designers.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Updating and maintaining tech packs including CAD illustrations, specification measurements, BOMs, and graphic artwork
• Attend Account meetings with Designers and Technical Designers to determine prototype needs and ensure that all initial Bill of Materials (BOM) are complete with all material components required for sample development.
• Monitor key calendar deadlines to ensure timeliness of deliverables are met and troubleshoot all problems/issues that arise to ensure no interference or delay.
• Tracking and log in all samples as they arrive
• Communicate with vendors to understand sample execution issues and provide support in resolving them in a timely manner. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Applicants must be proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Excel and must have knowledge of garment construction, fit, grading, and specification measurements.
